Useful hints for car hire at Sydney Airport.

I never like having to go to Sydney on business. There is just too much traffic for this country girl. I tried using only taxis and public transport, but this cost me time, and then it cost me more than if I had hired one of the little economical type cars. I did try reading on the bus, but it made me feel queasy, then I decided to listen to my MP3 and missed my stop. I don’t really enjoy public transport I found out, too many people in the one vehicle. So what do you do, I guess that you have to hire some kind of vehicle really. Sydney is just too big for me to get around just using public transport, it takes way too long. It would be ok if I was just off to work and then home again, but to run around from suburb to suburb just takes too long.

I really like to drive out of the city and into the Blue Mountains just to get a bit of balance. There are some very good walking tracks and generally quiet places to find a bit of peace. The last couple of times I have had to head into the big smoke I have hired a car through carrentalsydneyairport.com.au. Just by using this one site I can compare prices from car rental companies, look at different cars and different sizes. I don’t that much about cars, and they have new little ones coming out all the time, so to be able to get a good description and a photo too is very handy. I don’t particularly care which car company I use, as long as it’s reputable, and has good prices and really it doesn’t make any real difference which car I choose expect for the price, so I like to make sure I’m as eco friendly as I can be. One thing I do know is that each of these little cars has been slightly different, so I try to spend ten minutes or so just having a look, changing the mirrors and seat and just getting a feel for the car. I am thinking of upgrading to a GPS unit as well, that should help me easier than the old street directory, I hope.
