I have always wanted to go to the Sydney Opera House mainly because it is an Australian icon but also because I do enjoy the Opera and many of the other shows that the Opera House has to offer. So I booked my flight to Sydney and from a link at the airline website I was also able to book my car online. I thought it prudent to book a car to get me around Sydney. As much as I hate the Sydney traffic I don’t like the transport system any better, so I prefer to hire a car as soon as I arrive.

I also looked online to book some tickets to the events at the Sydney Opera House. I was able to obtain tickets to see the great pianist Tchaikovsky and his famous piano concerto number 2. There was a cheese and wine tasting expo especially for the Australian cheese and wines that hold many international food and beverage awards. I was also interested in the play by Andrew Bovell called When the rain stops falling. These were just a few of the upcoming attractions to the Sydney Opera House and I was very impressed with each of the performances. I have plans to go back for a second and even a third visit to see some of the other concerts and plays that are offered here.

The trip was a huge success so I cannot wait for the next time I fly into Sydney and get to visit the Opera House one more time.
